The department did not specify how much money will be saved thanks to this measure.
The Ministry of Finance also proposes to refuse to pay subsidies to regional budgets for the implementation of KPIs by governors. The savings are expected to amount to RUB 150 billion.
The refusal of indexation was already applied in 2014-2017. Later, civil servants' salaries were increased by the inflation rate.
