An official source from the company confirmed to the newspaper the authenticity of the document circulated in the means of replacing job titles in Emaar, and confining them to the names of the work team only.
(Emirates Today) obtained the text of a message from Alabbar to the workers in "Emaar", in which it said: "Dear Colleagues .... After you have finished reading this letter, you will notice something unusual and that there is no job title associated with my name. From now on, there will be no job title for anyone in the company. ”
Al-Abbar added: “The crisis left behind by the Corona epidemic has imposed on us a situation in which we are obliged to review the ways in which we do business and reconsider the products we offer, the systems we use, the people who work with us, and most importantly the work culture that we sought to establish.” .
Alabbar continued by saying: “The challenges we face will be greater than ever, which drives me to focus on the talents and skills that each of us possesses, not positions or job titles.”
Al-Abbar stressed that institutional restructuring is essential although he believes that everyone in the institution is an essential element in it, and pointed out that Emaar is not a "select group of talented people", but rather a broader group of unique skills, and pointed out that this change, which he described as simple But he stressed that its impact will be significant in the future.
