Lodging business owners recently reported to the Fair Trade Commission that lodging app companies are using their exclusive status, such as issuing discount coupons and operating directly operated businesses.

The FTC visited the lodging establishments on the 16th and conducted an on-site inspection.

In response, the lodging app companies said, "Overseas company fees are higher and advertising costs are not mandatory."
