Emirates Airlines announced that it will restart its A380 giant aircraft to serve its daily flight to Amsterdam, and that it will operate a second daily flight with the A380 to London Heathrow on August 1.
The announcement comes on the heels of the A380's return to airspace today to service passenger flights for the first time since last March. The first of these aircraft took off from Dubai International Airport to service flight "EK001" to London Heathrow at 7:45 am, followed by flight "EK 073" to Paris Charles de Gaulle at 8:20 am.
Emirates Airlines flight "07K" will receive a special reception upon its arrival in Paris, Charles de Gaulle, where it will become the first and only regular flight of the A380 that landed in this European airport since the beginning of the pandemic "Covid-19".
Emirates will also resume regular passenger services to seven other cities during this day: Athens, Barcelona, Geneva, Glasgow, Larnaca, Munich and Rome, which will offer its customers more travel options.
In the following days, Emirates Airlines will resume operating flights to the Maldives, Washington DC (July 16) and Brussels (July 17).
Emirates Airlines currently serves more than 50 destinations within its airline network, allowing its customers from different countries of the world to travel between the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region easily through Dubai, or stop there, as the city reopened its doors to receive visitors from businessmen and tourists International.
And it is now possible for Emirates airline customers traveling in first and business class to enjoy car service with a driver and relax in the terminal of Dubai International Airport with taking all precautionary measures, after resuming the provision of these distinguished services. The airline has also reopened Skywards counters at Dubai International Airport to serve members of its frequent passenger loyalty program.
