The department’s representative, Rashid Abdul Karim Al Balushi, said in a statement yesterday that “the initiative came out of the department’s commitment to achieving sustainability in its business, and translating the leadership and government directions of the UAE government to enhance the digital transformation of daily government transactions.”
He explained that the implementation of this initiative has resulted in remarkable accomplishments at the department level, where the percentage of reduced paper use during the first half of this year reached 38.75% compared to the same period last year, in addition to enabling employees to use technology technology tools instead of paper.
Al-Balushi indicated that the department continues its endeavors, in cooperation with various government agencies, to implement plans and strategies for dispensing paper and preserving the environment and supporting the green economy, stressing the department's endeavor to dispense with paper in all its internal dealings and with dealers by providing all technical requirements, and ensuring The complete transformation in transactions and procedures, pointing out that the department succeeded in transferring its services for economic licenses electronically, at a rate of 100%, through the integrated services system «Tamm».
