According to the Japan National Tourism Organization, the number of foreign tourists visiting Japan last month was estimated to be 2,600, a decrease of 99.9% compared to the same month last year.

The number of foreign tourists has fallen below 3000, and the rate of decrease was 99.9% for the third consecutive month, marking a record decline.

This is because the government continues to refuse foreigners from entering 129 countries and regions due to the spread of the new coronavirus.
