Yesterday, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi officially launched its operational operations, with its first flight to Alexandria in Egypt, while the second flight from Abu Dhabi to the Egyptian city of Sohag will take off tomorrow.

"This joint project between (Etihad Airways) and (Air Arabia) will provide a new and distinct option for air travel for citizens and residents in Abu Dhabi," said Tony Douglas, CEO of Etihad Aviation Group.

For his part, the CEO of Air Arabia Group, Adel Al Ali, said: “We are looking forward to expanding the network of (Air Arabia Abu Dhabi) destinations when more airports around the world return to their activities, where our customers can take advantage of a new option that provides added value to travel to and from Abu Dhabi.”
