In the wake of the Corona 19 shock, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said today (June 1) that exports in June were only $3,921.3 million, down 10.9% from the same period last year.
The average daily exports decreased by 18.5% considering the number of working days.
Last month's earnings were down 11.4% to $3,447 million.
As imports declined more than exports, the trade balance was surplus of $3.66 billion.
Monthly exports decreased from 3.5% in February to 1.6% in March in the aftermath of Corona19, followed by -25.5% in May and -23.6% in May, followed by a double-digit decline for the third consecutive month.
