MITSUBISHI MOTORS CORPORATION suspends production in July 18:43 on June 30, when demand falls due to new corona

Demand for cars has continued to fall due to the spread of the new coronavirus, so Mitsubishi Motors has decided to suspend production at plants in Aichi and Gifu prefectures next month.

On the 30th, Mitsubishi Motors will announce the operation plan for its domestic plant next month, and will stop production for 17 days at its plant in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, and for 19 days at its subsidiary plant in Sakahogi Town, Gifu Prefecture.

In addition, the production line for SUV = multi-purpose sports cars will be suspended for 14 days at the factory in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture.

Both of them were affected by the global decline in demand for cars, and the production reduction due to the temporary suspension of production will be about 17,000 units, which is about the same as this month.

Automakers are also returning to normal production, but Toyota, Nissan, Honda, etc. have decided to suspend production next month.
