On June 28, my country's first civilian passenger aircraft C919 with independent intellectual property rights slipped across the runway, passed through the water gate, and successfully landed at Xinjiang Turpan Jiaohe Airport to begin a special high-temperature flight test.
The temperature in Turpan reached 42 degrees Celsius that day and the surface temperature was 70 degrees Celsius. As a domestically produced large passenger aircraft, the C919 aircraft needs to carry out corresponding test flight activities during the development phase. The high-temperature test is an extreme climate test that modern aircraft at home and abroad must pass.
Turpan is known as "Huozhou", rich in high-temperature resources, and is also one of the best aircraft high-temperature flight test sites in China. The C919 aircraft will conduct aircraft high-temperature ground and air flight tests here. (The CCTV reporter trusts the water administration)
