Despite a slightly longer wheelbase (+2 mm), the new Mokka is 12.5 cm shorter (4.15 meters) than the previous generation, while offering its five passengers a similar boot volume of up to 350 liters.
The Mokka is the first model to display the brand's new face, dubbed " Opel Vizor", as well as the new generation of fully digital dashboard, the Opel Pure Panel . Exit analog screens, the atmosphere on board emphasizes sobriety and clarity. The dashboard has two large screens, one of which is 12 '' in front of the driver.
The new Mokka is based on a new version of the PSA group's CMP multi-energy platform, which allows the use of an electric powertrain or heat engines. Up to 120 kg lighter than its predecessor, the SUV will be available in an electric Mokka-e version, with 136 hp and 260 Nm, and whose 50 kWh batteries allow a range of 322 km in the WLTP cycle.
Marketed from the end of the summer, the Mokka will be available in dealerships in early 2021. It will also be offered with diesel and petrol engines. Prices are still unknown.
