  The number of mobile phone users has increased slightly, and the proportion of 4G users has increased. As of the end of May, the total number of mobile phone users of the three basic telecommunications companies reached 1.592 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.2%. Among them, the number of 4G users is 1.279 billion, accounting for 80.3% of the total number of mobile phone users, an increase of 0.3 percentage points from the end of April.

As of the end of May, the total number of fixed Internet broadband access users of the three basic telecommunications companies reached 462 million, a year-on-year increase of 7%, and a net increase of 12.53 million from the end of the previous year. Among them, there are 430 million fiber access (FTTH/O) users, accounting for 93.1% of the total fixed broadband Internet access users.
