Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced the resumption of flights from Abu Dhabi to Athens in the Republic of Greece, starting from June 24, to operate two weekly flights on Wednesday and Saturday, on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner designed in two classes.

 These flights will link guests traveling to and from Athens with a number of major destinations in Asia and Australia via Abu Dhabi.

 With the operation of these flights, the number of international destinations that Etihad operate to 25 destinations. Starting from July 1, Etihad plans to increase the number of its scheduled flights significantly, in the event that the ban on air transport to and from the UAE is lifted.
