“Of course, we will experience a change in the structure of the energy industry,” RIA Novosti quoted Energy Minister Alexander Novak as saying.

According to him, this will be primarily due to the fact that people will move less on vehicles and air transport.

He also noted that the recovery of the industry, most likely, will not be quick.

Earlier, the head of the working group on pricing and markets at the Ministry of Energy of Russia Vyacheslav Mishchenko evaluated the energy strategy.

According to him, the strategy basically involves a “modernization breakthrough” for the restructuring of the industry, in which carbon energy is supplemented by non-carbon, energy supply is becoming decentralized, and the export of energy resources is diversified by the export of Russian technologies.
