The Spanish energy company Iberdrola has presented an offer to acquire the Australian renewable energy company Infigen for 512.4 million euros.

"The offer has been unanimously recommended by the Infigen board in the absence of a superior offer. This implies a diluted equity value of A $ 840.6 million (US $ 577.2 million or € 512.4 million). "according to an Iberdrola statement sent to the Australian stock exchange (ASX).

For its part, Infigen informed the ASX that it supports the proposal of the Spanish multinational and asked shareholders to accept the tender offer for a value of 0.86 Australian dollars (0.59 US dollars or 0.52 euros) for every action.

"Iberdrola is a world energy leader, number one in wind energy and one of the world leaders in electricity by market capitalization.
