The new Mokka will indeed be the first model to wear the new face of Opel, whose GT X Experimental concept of 2018 already gave a taste. Today, this simple sketch clarifies things: this face is inspired by that of the first Manta, a car that marked its era.
The designers have therefore reinvented the grille of this emblematic model of the Seventies. Two headlight modules stand out on a black surface that spans the entire width of the front panel, and is framed by a fine chrome border. Located just under the hood, it visually widens the bow, structuring it with a reduced amount of decorative elements. The whole gives an impression of sharpness, precision and technique. Called Opel Vizor, this face will become an emblematic element of all models of the brand in the coming years.
The new Opel Mokka will be launched in 2021. It shares its platform and its "mechanics" with the Peugeot e-2008 and the DS3 Crossback e-Tense for example, but unlike the latter, it seems that the Opel will only exist '' in a 100% electric version.
