Under the apparently normal bodywork of this 1974 Mini, hides in fact a monster of power. Renault fans will appreciate the recipe, since it is similar to that applied to the R5 Turbo and the Clio V6.
We owe this Mini to the American company Gildred Racing, and you know that in terms of preparation, the Ricans have lost nothing. They installed a 3.2-liter Honda V6 engine… instead of the rear seat!
The engine is not "original" either, since thanks to forged pistons, special injectors, and a Rotex compressor, it is brought to 500 hp and 520 Nm of torque. Associated with a 6-speed manual gearbox, this (big) Japanese heart allows the city car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4 seconds! Although it retains its 13-inch rims, the Mini obviously has reinforced brakes and adjustable suspensions that help pass all the cavalry.
The interior of the small English car has also been modified with the integration of an iPad in the dashboard, an Alpine audio system and a sports steering wheel. If this little monster tempts you, know that it will only be produced in 10 copies, each invoiced at ... € 132,000!
