The Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office has filed a complaint against Isolux and the company leadership between 2008 and 2015 for the payment of illegal commissions to, among others, the deceased former Argentine president Néstor Kirchner and the current vice president, Cristina Fernández. The bribes were related to the award in 2007 of the construction of a thermoelectric power station in the Argentine city of Río Turbio. In that period the President of Isolux was Luis Delso , who has already been implicated in various court cases. The complaint presented at the National Court is also directed against the then Vice President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

The complaint is directed only against those responsible for Isolux in Spain and not against the Argentines in charge of the branch, who are already awaiting trial in that country. The complaint is based on the investigation carried out by the Argentine justice in the case known as the notebooks of corruption case .

According to the investigation in Argentina, between 2003 and 2015, several officials of the National Executive Power have formed an illegal association, led by the Kirchner couple, dedicated to collecting illegal commissions linked to the concession of public works to various companies.

According to the Argentine judge in the case, between 2008 and 2015 Grupo Isolux Corsan would have made at least 19 deliveries of money to these officials, each one as a general rule for an amount of US $ 300,000 (about 250,000 euros). According to that estimate, the money paid would have been around five million euros.

According to Anticorrupción, the investigation has revealed that the deliveries were carried out by local Isolux officials, but that they were authorized by the Spanish parent company. Furthermore, from Spain the necessary funds were periodically transferred from Spain.
