The Minister of Transport in the Sultanate of Oman, Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salem Al-Futaisi, revealed today that an effective and expeditious plan is aimed at resuming flights to connect the Sultanate with the world by air.
The Omani News Agency today quoted Al-Futaisi as saying in a press conference that the plan includes the means of recovery, promotion, and sustainable operation of the aviation sector, and to proceed with the implementation of the national aviation strategy of outputs and projects of a global investment nature to enhance the contribution to the economic diversification program.

He pointed out that the plan aims to continue taking the necessary measures to enable Omani ports to promote direct import and develop export activities to various countries of the world and make the Sultanate a global logistic center.

He explained that the various transport sectors are ready to drive economic diversification, raise national employment rates, create new job opportunities, and revive commercial, investment and industrial movement.
