Seoul and the metropolitan areas, there are more and more people who are uneasy to go out as corona19 group infection continues. According to one mobile operator, passengers using Itaewon Station here have dropped 64% on weekdays and 77% on weekends since the corona spread.

The average subway reduction rate is 26% on weekdays and 33% on weekends, but Itaewon has surpassed the double.

It is the result of analyzing the change in the number of passengers in the subway from the time when the group infection from Shincheonji began, with big data such as base station and Wi-Fi information.

For the top 20 stations that were crowded on weekends and holidays, Express Terminal Station and Seoul Station were 51% and 48%, respectively, with the largest decline.

Time zones dropped the most between 11 am and 12 pm on the weekend.

There is a clear trend to refrain from traveling to the provinces and avoid lunch appointments.

On the other hand, between 5 AM and 7 AM, the decrease in passenger traffic appears to be the least, and it is said that there was no other option for ordinary people who had to take the subway to go to work earlier than anyone else.
