In turn, the owner of a small company working in manufacturing masks, Fatima Mohamed, said that the specifications approved by the Ministry of Health were followed to produce the masks, pointing out that the challenge in the market, currently, is the availability of raw materials for this industry, at a time when companies were able to overcome this challenge with the support of the government.

Mohamed stressed that national industries take their opportunity in the country during this period, and it is expected that there will be greater stimulus and production during the coming period. It is noteworthy that the importance of local products emerged strongly after the spread of the Corona virus, in light of the difficulties faced by imports from abroad, and the high price of shipping. And entrepreneurs called on citizens to support the activation of Federal Law No. 2 of 2014, on small and medium enterprises, which provides for granting Small and medium enterprises: 10% of government purchases.

According to the Ministry of Economy, SMEs are the main driver of the economy, especially since they represent more than 94% of the total number of companies operating in the country.
