According to the results, only 26% of the survey respondents said that they will travel as soon as they start operating flights to tourist destinations.
Travel agency managers and experts have told Emirates Today that the coming summer vacation will not be similar to previous seasons, with the sector being severely affected in recent weeks by the emerging Corona virus crisis, expecting that the movement of tourism and tours will resume gradually, and that As soon as restrictions are lifted, travel begins first between countries that have relatively contained the virus.
They explained that "business travel or family visit may overwhelm the holiday destination during the summer, in the event that restrictions are removed," noting that travel decisions will be very cautious in terms of timing or destination chosen, while some may resort to delaying the leave for a later period.
