A spokesman for the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing denied the allegations broadcasted by Bloomberg regarding the future of the hotel sector in Dubai in light of the Covid 19 crisis.
The spokesman said that within the emirate’s orientations towards enabling its various economic sectors to gradually resume its activity, the hotel sector in Dubai is preparing to restore the strong momentum of its activity based on its strong capabilities, infrastructure and facilities that are considered to be the best in the world, taking into account the work of the recommendations of the authorities Concerned in the state regarding preventive measures that guarantee all aspects of protection and safety for visitors, which constitutes an absolute priority, whether for the tourism sector or for the government of Dubai in general.
