  Among the urban private units, the three industries with the highest average annual wages are 85301 yuan for information transmission, software and information technology services, 76107 yuan for finance, and 67642 yuan for scientific research and technology services. Among the urban non-private units, the information transmission, software and information technology services are 161,352 yuan, the scientific research and technology services are 133,459 yuan, and the financial industry is 131,405 yuan.

  This is evident in mining and manufacturing. In 2019, the average annual wage of employees in the mining industry in urban non-private units and urban private units increased by 11.8% and 12.7% respectively. The average annual wages of manufacturing employees in urban non-private units and urban private units increased by 8.4% and 7.3% respectively.

  The average wages of employees in high-tech-related manufacturing industries and some short-board areas also achieved rapid growth. Among urban non-private units, the average annual salary of employees in research and experimental development, technology promotion and application services, and higher education increased by 15.9%, 10.2% and 13.2%, respectively higher than the national average wage growth rate of 6.1, 0.4 and 3.4 percentage points.
