Which industries have high wages?

Among the urban private units, the three industries with the highest average annual wages are 85301 yuan for information transmission, software and information technology services, 76107 yuan for finance, and 67642 yuan for scientific research and technology services. Among the urban non-private units, the information transmission, software and information technology services are 161,352 yuan, the scientific research and technology services are 133,459 yuan, and the financial industry is 131,405 yuan.
Among non-private units, there are 6 industries with an average annual income of more than 100,000 yuan. In addition to the above three industries, it also includes health and social work, electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply, culture, sports and entertainment.

"With the continuous deepening of the supply-side structural reforms, the achievements of 'Three Goes, One Drop, and One Supplement' have been further consolidated, driving the average wages of related industries to maintain a relatively rapid growth." Meng Canwen said.
This is evident in mining and manufacturing. In 2019, the average annual wage of employees in the mining industry in urban non-private units and urban private units increased by 11.8% and 12.7% respectively. The average annual wages of manufacturing employees in urban non-private units and urban private units increased by 8.4% and 7.3% respectively.
The average wages of employees in high-tech-related manufacturing industries and some short-board areas also achieved rapid growth. Among the urban non-private units, the average annual salary of employees in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and railway, shipbuilding, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing increased by 13.0% and 10.3%, respectively, and the average annual salary of employees in the land management industry and water conservancy management increased by 23.4 % And 13.3%.

Statistics show that the annual expenditure on research and experimental development in 2019 increased by 10.5% over the previous year. Among urban non-private units, the average annual salary of employees in research and experimental development, technology promotion and application services, and higher education increased by 15.9%, 10.2% and 13.2%, respectively higher than the national average wage growth rate of 6.1, 0.4 and 3.4 percentage points.

The extensive penetration of information technology has also brought a good income to a group of employees.
On the one hand, online retailing has developed rapidly. In 2019, the online retail sales of physical goods nationwide increased by 19.5% over the previous year. Correspondingly, the average annual wage of employees in wholesale and retail industries in urban non-private units increased by 10.5%, 0.7 percentage points higher than the national average wage growth rate.
