The Securities and Commodities Authority has announced that it has obtained four ISO standards, for corporate governance, innovation, knowledge management and sustainable procurement, by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance International.
The authority had recently announced that it had obtained the ISO risk management certification, bringing the total number of ISO specifications that it had obtained since the beginning of 2020 to five conforming certificates.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Securities and Commodities Authority, Dr. Obaid Al-Zaabi, said that the success of the Authority in obtaining the five ISO specifications during the past few period reflects the efforts that it exerts in improving organizational and administrative performance within it, and its relentless pursuit to ensure the efficiency of work in order to achieve the goals You are looking forward to.
He emphasized that obtaining specifications enhances the culture of innovation and creativity, the quality of services, unifies the frameworks and methodologies of activities and links them to strategic goals and performance standards, the most important of which are corporate governance standards.
