China News Service, Qingdao, May 15 (Reporter Yang Bing and Hu Yaojie) The largest operating water depth FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading) in China is undertaken by Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Enterprise Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. ("CNOOC Engineering") (Installation) "Offshore Oil 119" was delivered in Qingdao on the 15th. In the future, "Offshore Oil 119" will serve Liuhua 16-2 oilfield group, China's first self-operated deep-water development oilfield located in the South China Sea. After being put into production, it is expected to process 21,000 cubic meters of crude oil and 540,000 cubic meters of natural gas every day, which is equivalent to a 300,000 square meters of onshore oil and gas processing plant.

FPSO is a comprehensive large-scale offshore production facility that integrates oil and gas production and processing, storage and transportation, oilfield life support, and power supply. It is called "offshore oil and gas processing plant" and is currently mainly distributed in the South China Sea and the Bohai Sea. The developed core facilities are known as the "pearl in the crown" in the field of marine engineering because of their high cost, complicated production process, high degree of integration of equipment and facilities, and difficulty in construction.

According to reports, “Offshore Oil 119” is the first FPSO general contracting project of COOEC, and for the first time independently undertaken the installation of a complete FPSO underwater facility. The operating water depth can reach 420 meters, creating a new record of the domestic FPSO operating water depth. Its successful development also marks a new breakthrough in China's large-scale FPSO high-end manufacturing capabilities and the entire industry chain technology.

Yu Yi, chairman of Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd., said that in the past two years, CNOOC Engineering has successively delivered two 300,000-ton mega-scale FPSOs to Brazil, of which P70FPSO was selected as China's "Top Ten Innovation Projects" in 2019. The successful delivery of "Offshore Oil 119" marks that CNOOC Engineering has made new breakthroughs in the core technology of FPSO high-end manufacturing and EPCI (design, procurement, construction, installation) general contracting capabilities.

It is reported that the total length of the "Offshore Oil 119" hull is about 256 meters and the width is about 49 meters. The deck area is equivalent to 2 standard football fields. The height from the bottom of the ship to the upper building is 50.2 meters. There are 14 oil and gas production functional modules on the deck and a living building that can accommodate 150 workers. It also has the most complicated offshore oil and gas treatment process in China, which can control 3 Underwater oil field, 26 subsea oil production tree full life cycle production. In addition, "Offshore Oil 119" can achieve stable production in the stormy South China Sea, mainly relying on a set of international advanced level "Dinghai Shenzhen"-SIT (Hull Integrated Type) single-point mooring system of internal turret This is by far the most complex single-point mooring system built and integrated with the highest technology in China.

It is understood that the high degree of integration, large engineering workload, tight project cycle, and complex engineering interface are the main difficulties in the implementation of the project. To this end, COOEC has made full use of the advantages of EPCI general contract management, and has successively broken through more than ten key technologies such as 130 mm ultra-thick heavy plate welding, large and complex single-point millimeter-level high-precision control, and ultra-high precision slip ring integration, and completed more than 30 Project innovation, each quality index exceeds the project quality target requirements, and overcome the impact of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic situation, complete the single-point integration work 40 days in advance, refresh the fastest international single-point integration record. In addition, the project independently developed an intelligent inspection and personnel positioning and tracking system, and comprehensively applied an intelligent interface management system. With the help of visualization, digitalization, Internet of Things and other technologies, the FPSO project was dynamic, standardized, and safety management intelligent. In particular, based on the characteristics of Liuhua Oilfield, CNOOC Engineering independently designed and built the first floating light hydrocarbon (LPG) recovery system in China. By recycling the associated gas generated during crude oil mining, it effectively reduces gas emissions. Generate economic benefits of nearly 100 million yuan. (Finish)
