The Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi identified 6 tips for consumers to ensure safe and smart shopping during Ramadan in light of the challenges arising from the repercussions of the emerging Corona Virus Covid-19.
The Abu Dhabi economy called on consumers to seize the opportunity to provide distinctive offers and the Ramadan basket at the best prices in shopping centers by following the procedures that guarantee the safety of consumers.
The department called on consumers to refrain from gathering at the entrances of various shopping malls and outlets, and to adhere to the social spacing and pay the bill by bank card instead of cash.
The department also asked consumers not to hold small children or the elderly when shopping and to continue the sterilization of hands after touching the offered products with full commitment to wearing masks and gloves.
