Aid to restaurateurs after support for food shopping

On April 23, the Ministry of Labor announced that the ceiling on the use of restaurant vouchers for purchases in supermarkets, local shops and weekly meals was raised to 95 euros, once a week, against 19 euros per day currently .

"Concretely this means that it will be possible to pay in one go for food shopping with restaurant tickets," said the ministry, adding that this device would be stopped as soon as restaurants reopen and that "a similar measure will be [a] taken for payment in restaurants ”.

About 4 million employees of companies use restaurant vouchers, a sector which represents more than 6 billion euros per year.
