The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has launched a first-of-its-kind user experience “search and application” guide, which helps user experience employees, user interface designers and others use the best global tools and practices to focus on the customer in research and design.

This came during a virtual workshop held by the authority under the title "the most important developments in the capabilities of the smart government", in the presence of more than 150 experts and interested parties from the federal authorities in the state.

The Authority, at the beginning of the workshop, thanked all federal authorities, for the great efforts made during the year 2019, and the marked improvement in its results, compared with previous years in achieving the standards of indicators of smart government capabilities.

In addition to the launch of the guide, the workshop reviewed the most important developments of smart government indicators and capabilities, such as the launch of a new remote evaluation evaluation hub, which measures the readiness of federal agencies and their services and employees of the digital transformation of the remote work system, and the launch of a special hub for assessing the quality of digital services through the smart application, and the launch of standards Especially to deal with crises, and others for digital signature of services, and the extent to which agencies develop their services using the user experience methodology, facilitating and simplifying services, and designing proactive services.

Salem Al-Hosni, Acting Deputy Director General of the Authority for the Information and Intelligent Services Sector, head of the National Team for the Smart Services Index, said: “These days we live in an important stage, which included an effective application of the strategies and plans adopted by the UAE government in accordance with the directives of the rational leadership regarding enabling and strengthening the smart government in the country.”
