On May 5, 2020, Tibet Airlines opened the route of Lhasa in Tibet = Guoluo in Qinghai = Xining Highland in Qinghai. In 2019, Xu Yan, the winner of "Tibetan Craftsman", completed the first flight as captain again. Since he was transferred from the Chinese Air Force to become a civil aviation pilot in 1998, Xu Yan has flown for more than 18,000 hours with zero errors.
In Xu Yan's view, the quality of pilots needs to be polished by "skills of craftsmanship". No matter how skilled and experienced they are, the same route is flown many times, and a certain command is familiar again. . From the ground winding inspection to the preparation before flight, to every operation in take-off, landing and flight, it must be strictly controlled and meticulous.
