The Commercial Supervision and Consumer Protection Sector at Dubai Economic Department implemented a new inspection campaign on commercial establishments in the stage of reopening markets, as the number of commercial establishments that met the requirements and precautionary measures reached 1342 stores, while 19 facilities were alerted that did not adhere to placing social divergence posters.


The Dubai Economy said in a statement that during the inspection process in open markets, the number of stores meeting the conditions and precautionary measures reached 908 stores, while three shops were alerted.


The inspection campaigns focused on the stores located in Al Nahda, Satwa, Al Muteena, Hor Al Anz, Al Murar, Abu Hail, Al Riffa, Ayal Nasser, Souk Al Kabir, Al Karama, Nayef, Oud Maitha, Al Wasl, Ras Al Khor, Al Twar, and Jumeirah. 


The fieldwork team also inspected nine shopping centers, which resulted in 16 alerts, due to the lack of physical distance stickers, while the number of shops that met the requirements and precautionary measures reached 434 stores.
