The data showed that the number of "public installations" buildings reached 823 buildings, with a share of 6.5%, followed by "industrial buildings" which numbered 558 buildings, with a rate of 4.4%.

The data indicated the issuance of 1700 permits for a new building during the year 2019, "private villas" acquired the largest part of them, while the number of permits related to additions and amendments reached 22 thousand and 376 permits. According to the Dubai Statistics Center, the data includes buildings that are under the supervision of the Dubai Municipality, and includes statistics for buildings that are still "under construction" until the end of December 2019. It is noteworthy that the number of buildings completed in the Emirate of Dubai during the year 2019 reached 6665 buildings, compared to 6043 buildings In 2018, with a growth rate of 10%, while the total value of the completed buildings in the emirate was 36 billion and 114 million dirhams, with a growth rate of 6% compared to the previous year.
