The Galleria, Al Maryah Island Shopping Center, announced the reopening of its facilities on May 2, 2020, in accordance with a circular recently issued by the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi and in the framework of the directives of the Abu Dhabi International Market in its capacity as the regulator of Al Maryah Island, regarding the restart of shopping centers and malls after the completion of The necessary examination procedures, as the center successfully fulfilled all the precautions for health and safety.

 Under these latest updates, the facilities that have already begun operations in the Galleria, retail stores, pharmacies and supermarkets, will now be able to start operations again. Barber and hairdressing salons will begin receiving their customers to enjoy again the hairdressing and nail care services, according to the pre-reservation system, in order to ensure the application of the social separation procedures and the necessary precautionary measures. As for entertainment facilities in the center, such as cinemas and game areas, they will remain closed, while food and beverage stores are allowed to receive customers in groups of two people per table, and no more than 30% of the capacity of each store. And these restaurants will continue to provide home delivery services first delivery in the shop, with online delivery options if required.
