From Saturday, small and medium-sized businesses will be able to order masks on a platform hosted by La Poste. On Europe 1, Olivier Vallet, the director of the group's digital sector, details the instructions for use on Thursday evening.

It is a tool intended for small and medium-sized enterprises for the protection of employees against coronavirus: a platform hosted by La Poste will be launched on the Internet on Saturday evening so that SMEs can order masks. Olivier Vallet, director of the group's digital sector, Docaposte, explains Thursday evening how this platform works, which will be able to distribute up to 10 million masks "washable and reusable 20 times".

"The platform works in a very simple way," explains Olivier Vallet. "You identify yourself with your Siret number, so that we can check that you are eligible for the order. You will be able to place an order that corresponds to the number of employees who belong to your company, with four masks per employee for two weeks days. "

An order delivered "in five working days"?

The control will then be carried out by the platform, before a conventional transaction on a website: "Once this order is placed, you will make a payment online", continues Olivier Vallet. "Then, you will follow up on your delivery via an SMS which will be delivered to you by La Poste. It will of course depend on the time of supply and customs clearance but it will be a delay of about five working days."
