The quarantine authorities decided to conduct a “population immunity” survey to check the size of Corona 19's domestic radio waves.

Kwon Joon-wook, deputy general manager of the Central Quarantine Countermeasures Headquarters, said in a regular briefing, "We plan to check the corona19 community infection trend and collective immunity for the purpose of establishing effective countermeasures."

Population immunity surveys are done to determine how many people have been immunized after an infection.

In the case of Corona 19, it has been reported that when more than 60% of the population has infectious diseases, 'group immunity' is formed.

Population immunity is assessed by the formation of antibodies that neutralize the virus.

Kwon also presented a concrete plan to "use blood obtained from the National Health and Nutrition Survey as a way to select a sample that can represent the entire population."

As there are many confirmed cases in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions in relation to the Sincheonji Daegu Church in Korea, the quarantine authorities will first conduct antibody tests in the special management area for this infectious disease.
