Dubai Economy reported that non-compliance by commercial establishments with the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the new Corona virus "Covid 19", which was announced in the context of the partial opening of markets in the emirate, exposes it to violation, financial fine and temporary closure, stressing that the fine for non-compliance with any of the precautionary measures amounts to 2000 AED and the temporary closure is 48 hours.

Precautionary measures include wearing masks and physical spacing, not opening fitting rooms, and not performing unauthorized promotional offers at the stage of reopening markets. The Dubai Economy has warned that repeating the violation exposes the commercial establishment to paying a double fine and increasing the period of temporary closure, according to the administrative procedures followed.

The Dubai Economic Department organized inspection campaigns on several areas in the Emirate of Dubai to ensure that commercial establishments adhere to the decisions to allow traffic to return to normal during grace times from six in the morning until ten in the evening. The Dubai Economic Department said yesterday that it closed about 26 stores that did not adhere to the precautionary measures to reopen the markets, as 234 commercial establishments were alerted and 14 stores were violated due to their failure to adhere to the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the new Corona virus "Covid 19", and the violations included not wearing masks. Failure to adhere to physical distance, open measurement rooms in clothing stores, and make unauthorized promotional offers at the stage of reopening markets.

The Dubai Economic Department called on consumers to report any negative cases or phenomena in contravention of precautionary measures through the Dubai Consumer Application, or by calling 600545555 or through the website http://consumerrights.ae.
