On the afternoon of the same day, a company declared export of 357 non-woven fabrics and hardware accessories to the customs of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge under the customs by means of general trade. The duty inspector on duty inspected the declared "non-woven fabric", and the situation was normal. Cartons declared as "hardware accessories" in the container, lightly weighed and lighter, aroused the suspicion of customs officers. Immediately, the customs officer inspected this part of the product.
After inspection, it was found that a large number of masks were hidden in the batch of cartons, involving medical, non-medical and children's masks.
It is reported that as foreign epidemics continue to spread, the export volume of masks and other epidemic prevention and control materials has increased significantly. Gongbei Customs further strengthens the supervision of exported medical materials, guarantees the rapid declaration of qualified medical anti-epidemic materials exported truthfully and conforms to the regulations, and at the same time, attempts to export medical materials illegally through false reports, concealment, entrapment and other methods are severely cracked down. Penalties for "three noes", sub-charging good, counterfeiting and other inferiority shall be punished according to law and regulations. Those who constitute a crime shall be investigated for criminal responsibility according to law.
