The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai said that restaurants within the hotel establishments were allowed to conduct their business with a occupancy rate of 30%.

In a circular to the owners of hotel establishments in the Emirate of Dubai, the department added that with reference to Circular No. previous dated March 23, 2020 regarding providing food and beverage services inside hotel establishments for guests only, it was decided to allow restaurants to conduct their business by receiving customers from outside the hotel with the importance of reducing Sitting places in restaurants and cafes to 30% of the occupancy area, taking into consideration to leave two meters from one table to another.

The Department stressed the importance of full compliance with all precautionary circulars issued by Dubai government departments available on its website.

She added that she will continuously assess with the health authorities the new situation.
