The inspection campaigns focused on the shops located in Al Quoz, Al Nakheel, International City, Hor Al Anz, Al Satwa, Al Riffa, Al Souk Al Kabir, Al Karama, Al Qusais, Al Nahda, Freej Al Murar, Al Warqa, Al Rashidiya, Al Muteena, Abu Hail, Jumeirah, Al Wasl, and Ras Al Khor.

Commercial activities for stores in conflict with the law have varied, to include activities for selling used furniture, general trade, electrical trade, transaction clearance, technical services, sewing and embroidery, mobile phone trading, meat sales, plastic bag trade, fabric and textile trade, car rental, electronics trade, sale Auto parts, selling sweets, and groceries.


In addition, the field work team of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector carried out inspections of eight commercial centers in Deira and Bur Dubai, which resulted in 84 warnings, due to the lack of physical distance stickers, the non-stopping of the application of the replacement and return policy, as well as the violation of six stores, Due to the opening of the fitting rooms and carrying out promotional offers in this period.


And the Dubai economic campaign extended over the hours of the market’s operation from the morning to the closing hour.


Dubai’s economy directs merchants to adhere to precautionary measures such as wearing masks and gloves, applying principles of physical spacing and not doing business in the market during the hours of national sterilization, where the stores are required to close except for activities that are allowed to practice 24-hour work according to the previous circulars.
