Emirates Airlines reported yesterday that it plans to operate passenger services next week to the following destinations: Frankfurt (25, 27 and 29 April), Frankfurt (April 26), Johannesburg (April 25), Lagos (April 26), London Heathrow (23 24, 28 and 30 April), Madrid (29 April), Manila (24, 28 and 30 April), and Tunisia (30 April), indicating that these flights will facilitate the travel of visitors and residents wishing to return to their countries.

The carrier said in a statement yesterday that those wishing to travel to Johannesburg, Lagos and Tunisia must contact the diplomatic missions of their countries in the UAE, while travelers to other destinations can book directly through the website: (emirates.com) and choose "one way" , Or by travel agents.

She added that only citizens of the destination country and those who meet the entry requirements will be allowed to board the plane, as they must meet the requirements and conditions of entry to the country they are traveling to, and all travelers must follow all health and safety measures approved by the authorities in the UAE and the destination country.

A Emirates Airlines spokesman said that the carrier continues to monitor the effects of the Corona epidemic closely, taking into account the resumption of services as soon as conditions permit, noting that this includes obtaining government approvals, easing restrictions on travel and commercial demand.

The spokesman added: "We will announce the resumption of service when we are in a position to do so," noting that "only some flights are available for reservation, but the situation is still dynamic and the scheduled flights available for reservation may change during the coming period based on developments."

He continued, "We aim to provide our customers with as much information as possible in case of any changes." The Emirates Airlines had obtained the necessary approvals to transport passengers to some of its destinations in 12 countries, starting from the sixth of this April, including: "London Heathrow", Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, Zurich, and other stations. According to the carrier, these flights will facilitate the travel of visitors and residents who wish to return to their countries, as only the citizens of the destination and those who meet the entry requirements will be allowed to board the plane, where they must meet the requirements and conditions of entry to the country they are traveling to.

Emirates Airlines recently announced the update of its exemption policy as a result of the spread of the "Covid-19" epidemic, as it facilitated the process of re-booking and canceling travel tickets to all the markets it serves around the world.

The company revealed three options, which are: keeping tickets for 760 days, obtaining a travel voucher for two years, or recovering the full value of tickets or unused vouchers.

- The flights will be from Dubai to Frankfurt, Jakarta, Johannesburg, Lagos, London Heathrow, Madrid, Manila and Tunisia.
