For new tenants whose income is declining due to new corona, rent grace is extended Daiwa House Industry April 22 17:56

Daiwa House Industry has decided to delay the payment of rent for up to 3 months for residents such as rental apartments whose income has decreased due to the new coronavirus.

The target is tenants such as rental apartments managed by the Daiwa House Industry group company under the "Droom" brand.

There are about 500,000 units nationwide, including not only individual contracts but also companies renting rooms.

If the income of a living individual or corporation decreases significantly due to the spread of infection, in addition to the monthly rent, the parking fee and the common service fee will be deferred for a maximum of three months.

We do not require any documents to prove the decrease in income when applying, so we will accept it on the homepage of "Daiwa Living" from 23rd to 30th June.

It means that the repayment can be done in a maximum of 2 years from the time of application.

Regarding rent payments, there are restaurants and other places where sales have fallen and payments are difficult, so the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has requested through industry groups to take flexible measures such as delays in rent payments.
