She stated that Austria, in cooperation with its partners, prepared a schedule of events designed to emulate the five senses of each visitor and of all family members, where each of them will be able to test the true Austrian experience during their visit to the pavilion, but the spread of the pandemic (Covid-19) brought new challenges for all of humanity, and set The world is in direct confrontation with an emergency that requires the combined efforts of the entire international community.

She continued: «There is no doubt, this will be reflected on the international (Expo) exhibitions, and each participating country must present its experience and the lessons generated by this pandemic, and what are the preparations that have been prepared to face any danger of this kind in the future», noting That "delaying the (Dubai Expo) for a year will give us enough time to prepare for these axes and to find the best way to highlight the Austrian experience with this pandemic to the world."

Carl indicated that the Austria Pavilion program at "Expo Dubai" will focus on several axes, including the economy, youth, and tourism, at both the present and future levels.

She added that an innovation space will be allocated within the pavilion of Austria at the exhibition under the name "iLab", where creative initiatives and inspirational solutions from Austria that deal with various topics will be displayed.

"We are currently studying the topics that we must add to our calendar of events, in order to reflect the Austrian experience and how we dealt with the pandemic of the emerging Corona virus," she added.

Climate challenges
