According to the data, the number of hotel rooms in Dubai increased by the end of February to 127,844 rooms, compared to 117,436 rooms at the end of February 2019, a growth of about 9%.

The number of hotel establishments in Dubai increased by the end of February 2020, to 745 establishments, compared to 716 establishments at the end of the same month last year, an increase of about 4%.

The number of booked rooms (overnight) has witnessed positive growth as of February 2020, which reached 6.15 million nights, an increase of 8% compared to the same period last year, while the average occupancy of rooms and hotel apartments reached 82%.

Statistics showed that the average daily price of the hotel room in Dubai reached, at the end of last February, to 472 dirhams, compared to 513 dirhams, compared to the same period in 2019, while the average return on the room to 386 dirhams, compared to 432 dirhams.

According to the data, India topped the list of the most exported markets for visitors to Dubai during January and February, with 382 thousand visitors, followed by the Saudi market with about 373 thousand visitors.

With regard to the source of visitors by geographic region, data «Dubai Tourism» showed that Western Europe ranked first in the list of the largest markets, during January and February of this year, after having acquired 21% of the total number, followed by the Arab Gulf countries with 20% , And the South Asia region, at 16%.
