Introducing temporary accommodations for JTB returnees New Coronavirus April 16 4:47

In response to the spread of the new coronavirus, JTB, a major travel agency, has begun efforts to introduce accommodations for temporary returnees from overseas.

To prevent the spread of infection, the government requires immigrants, including Japanese from all countries and regions, to wait at home or hotel for 2 weeks.

However, there are cases in which it may take time to arrange an accommodation facility that cannot be immediately found when a company calls back overseas expatriates.

For this reason, JTB has begun efforts to introduce acceptable accommodations from the contracted accommodations nationwide.

After listening to requests from the company regarding the number of people staying and the period, we will adjust the recipients based on the intention of the facility and the status of infection prevention measures.

It also means that a medical institution that accepts patients will negotiate instead when finding accommodations for doctors and nurses who want to live away from their families to reduce the risk of spreading infection.

JTB says, "We want to meet a wide range of needs, so please consult us first."
