Emirates Airlines said that passengers now have two new options that give them the flexibility to travel again whenever they want, if they book their tickets before May 31, 2020 to travel on or before August 31, 2020.

The company explained that passengers can choose to keep their tickets, and the carrier will extend its validity until 24 months from the date of the original reservation, and the price they paid for the original reservation of any trip to the same destination at any time will be accepted, without imposing any fees during this period.

And she continued: «You do not need to contact us if you want to cancel a reservation, we have extended the validity of your ticket up to 24 months. Therefore, all you have to do is contact us to reschedule your flight when you are ready to travel again. ”

She explained that travelers can also convert their original reservation into a travel voucher equivalent to the amount they paid for their original reservation, noting that the travel voucher only applies to the incomplete part of the itinerary for the booked flight.

She stated that the travel voucher will be valid for one year from the date of issuance, and it can be replaced with an airline ticket, or other products and services from Emirates Airlines for a value up to the value of the voucher, and its validity can be extended for another year.

The company stressed that no amendment fees will be imposed when traders return the reservation within a period of 24 months, whether through the option "keep your ticket" or "travel voucher". Hence, they will benefit from greater flexibility to plan your future trips.

She noted that these two options are available for bookings made before May 31. Reservations made as of June 1, 2020 will be subject to the price conditions in effect at the time of booking.
