Emirates Airlines revealed that passengers now have two new options that give them flexibility to travel again whenever they want, if they book their tickets before May 31, 2020 to travel on August 31, 2020 or before, at a time when it announced that it plans to operate passenger services to all of Jakarta, Taipei, Chicago, Tunisia, Algeria, Kabul and Manila, in addition to flights that have recently started operating to London and Frankfurt.

Two options for tickets

The company stated that passengers can choose to keep their tickets, because the carrier extends its validity up to 24 months from the date of the original reservation, and the price they paid for the original reservation of any trip to the same destination will be accepted at any time, without imposing any fees during this period.

She added, “You do not need to contact us if you want to cancel a reservation. We have extended the validity of your ticket for up to 24 months. Therefore, all you have to do is contact us to reschedule your flight when you are ready to travel again. ”

She explained that travelers can also convert their original reservation into a travel voucher equivalent to the amount they paid for their original reservation, noting that the travel voucher only applies to the incomplete portion of the flight itinerary booked.

She stated that the travel voucher will be valid for one year from the date of issuance, and it can be replaced with an airline ticket, or other products and services from Emirates Airlines for a value up to the value of the voucher, and its validity can be extended for another year.

The company assured that no amendment fees will be imposed when traders return the reservation within a period of 24 months, whether through the option "keep your ticket" or "travel voucher". Hence, they will benefit from greater flexibility to plan your future trips.

She noted that these two options are available for bookings made before May 31. Reservations made as of June 1, 2020 will be subject to the price conditions in effect at the time of booking.

New destinations

In another context, Emirates Airlines announced that it plans to operate passenger services to Jakarta, Taipei, Chicago, Tunisia, Algeria, Kabul and Manila, in addition to the flights that have recently started operating to London and Frankfurt, pointing out that these flights will facilitate Travel visitors and residents who wish to return to their countries.

The company stated that these trips can be booked directly via emirates.com or through travel agents, indicating that only the citizens of the destination and those who meet the entry requirements will be allowed to board the plane, as they must meet the requirements and conditions of entry to the country they are traveling to.

With the resumption of work to more destinations, Emirates Airlines restarted all passenger flights from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport. All travelers are required to follow all approved health and safety procedures.

The company stated that passengers will not have some of the usual services, such as doing travel procedures, choosing a seat via the Internet, car service with a driver, and private lounge services in any of the destinations, and will not be available on the aircraft any publications.

The carrier stressed that all its aircraft will undergo extensive cleaning and sterilization operations upon their return to Dubai after each flight.

Hand luggage

Emirates Airlines stressed that passengers will not be allowed to carry hand luggage on planes, except for the laptop, personal handbag, and baby necessity.

She explained that for each passenger, seven kilograms will be added to the allowable rate for placing his hand luggage with his bags on the cargo hold. Passengers must also wear their own masks and gloves during the trip, starting from the stage of operating procedures for travel on counters, and they must reach Building No. (3) to complete the procedures three hours before their flight departure times.
