"Is your house closed?" Inquiry to the city in an emergency declaration.

As talks about specific business formats and facilities continue between Tokyo and the country over requests for leave following an emergency declaration, the Tokyo call center asks, "Is my store subject to requests for leave?" Inquiries are being made one after another, and the staff members are busy responding.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government established the Emergency Measures Consultation Center on the 7th to respond to inquiries about measures based on the emergency declaration by telephone.

According to the capital, more than 3,300 inquiries were received over the two days up to the 8th, and 30 staff members were busy responding on the 9th.

Many of them are about the business operator's request for leave, such as "Is my store eligible for a leave request?" Or "When is my target determined?"

The staff explained that the subject was being adjusted and was not decided, and that if it was formally decided, it would be announced on the website.

Mr. Naoyuki Tamura, Chief of Disaster Prevention Management Coordinator, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, said, "I feel that business operators are worried and have great doubts.

The call center is open daily from 9am to 7pm, including weekends and holidays, and the phone number is 03-5388-0567.
