Etihad Airways has announced the addition of evacuation flights to the special flight schedule from Abu Dhabi to both Melbourne and Amsterdam with the launch of a new flight to London Heathrow.

The federation has started operating evacuation flights to return passengers stranded in the UAE due to flight restrictions due to the outbreak of the Corona virus (Covid-19), to their home countries and to support the food security program in the Emirates through the use of passenger transport aircraft to transport goods.

The company continues to transport Emirati citizens wishing to return to the country, when possible, and fresh goods on return trips to Abu Dhabi.

Besides Melbourne, Amsterdam and London Heathrow, Etihad continues to operate evacuation flights from Abu Dhabi to a number of destinations including South Korea, Singapore, Manila and Jakarta.

Tickets can be booked for these trips through the company’s website, etihad.com, or through their mobile application, or by calling the Etihad Airways Contact Center on 00971600555666 if they are in the Emirates, or through a local or electronic travel agency. As for Emirati citizens wishing to return to the UAE, they should contact the UAE embassy or consulate in the country they are in.
