“The ruble exchange rate against the dollar, as a rule, is determined by two main parameters. The first is oil prices. Secondly, the international appetite for Russian securities, for everything that is sold. As for the second factor, everything is more or less normal, it affects the strengthening of the ruble. Oil is also at a comfortable level, ”he said.

According to the economist, market participants believe that “given the current oil price, the Central Bank has a working corridor for the ruble from 75 to 80 rubles per dollar.”

“So far, the situation in all of these factors is completely regular. As for the prospects, the week will be rather nervous, because the dynamics of oil quotations, which is unstable and volatile, will be of great importance, ”Maslennikov said.

Earlier, the dollar fell below 76 rubles for the first time since March 18 and amounted to 75.94 rubles.
