[Explanation] Passenger stations and transportation vehicles are densely populated places, and the risk of epidemic spread is relatively large. In order to strengthen the prevention and control of the epidemic, Beijing Metro controls the full load rate according to the standard of not more than 50%. How does Beijing Metro monitor passenger traffic? On April 2, the reporter came to the Beijing Metro Company to learn about the situation.

[Explanation] On the wall of the Beijing Metro Emergency Center, different electronic screens show real-time images and latest data of Beijing Metro stations and passenger flows. According to reports, during the epidemic period, the Beijing Metro Corporation on the one hand formulated an extraordinary and super strong operation chart to reduce train intervals to increase capacity, on the other hand, to strengthen the analysis and scheduling of network passenger flow, through the "real-time network passenger flow monitoring system", the 16 lines of the road network Real-time monitoring of the arrival, departure, change of passenger flow, and section full load rate, and prompts in different colors.

For example, now we see the green section, which indicates that the full load rate of this section is now below 40%, and the yellow section indicates that the current full load rate of this section is above 40% and below 50%. When the train full load rate exceeds 50%, our corresponding section will show brown, and when the train full load rate exceeds 60%, the corresponding section will show red.

[Explanation] Han Qinglong introduced that when the staff finds that the value of the corresponding section exceeds the predetermined value, it will directly issue a current limit order to the station, organize the station to limit the work, control the speed of passengers entering the station, and control the congestion of trains degree.

When we reach a yellow section like this (full load rate is between 40% and 50%), we start an early warning to notify the relevant stations so that they are ready to limit the flow; if this brown is reached (When the full load rate is above 50%), we initiate a secondary warning, and organize relevant large passenger flow stations to take current-limiting measures to control the passenger's pit stop speed; when red appears (full load rate exceeds 60%), we take the The highest level of the three-level response mechanism, that is, the relevant stations take measures to limit the flow at the same time, and increase the current limit to control the full load rate of the train.

[Explanation] According to reports, the daily passenger traffic of the Beijing subway is equivalent to about 30% before the epidemic. As people resume work, the subway's passenger flow is gradually increasing, and the Beijing subway will continue to adjust its operating organization plan according to the situation of passenger traffic, and it is expected to return to normal operating levels after the epidemic.

[Contemporary] Han Qinglong, Passenger Flow Organization Engineer, Beijing Metro Dispatching Command Center

At present, the organizational form of train operation in this special case is limited to the period of epidemic prevention and control. We take this as a temporary special operating organization form. With the development of the epidemic and the demand for passenger flow, we will also We will continue to make adjustments to the operation chart. After the epidemic is over, we will return to normal operating levels.
